Fankle Issue 7 Rolls out..

Bouncing back after its extended summer break, the Fankle is out now with issue 7, the Over a Barrel issue. Packed with poetry and prose from talented local writers, it's still only an amazing 50p. This issue saw our biggest ever submission from old and new contributors and we're hoping that the publication will continue to go from strength to strength. This month sees poetry and prose from John Horn, Isobel Prowse, Lynn Otty, Kriss Nichol, Alan Clark, Anne Dunford, Betty Tindal, JoAnne MacKay and Catherine Lang, edited by Sally Hinchcliffe and Dorothy MacIver and designed by Hugh Bryden.

Fankle 7 - ready to go out into the world

The Fankle is now a joint venture between Dumfries Writers and the Crichton Writers group, with support from the Curlywees in Newton Stewart. It's open to submissions from writers from across the county and comes out every two months with a themed issue.
