these times - our times

just back from Spain, where everyone I spoke to was very excited at the news of ETA's renouncement of their armed struggle for Basque independence. 
No doubt at all, in Barcelona, regarding the significance of our own Scottish contribution to the world conversation about sense of place and identity. Talking in Catalonia gave a very useful sense of perspective about the bigger independence picture...it is instructive to Google Independence with a few different places/regions/countries in front....here is what Basque gave you -until yesterday (?)
