Spring Fling Brainstorming - The West

Representatives of Spring Fling are coming to Stranraer Museum on Thursday 17 May at 2pm to gather and have an informal conversation to inform our planning for the 2013 Spring Fling.

It might seem far away but we are already thinking about applications, which open for the 2013 event in autumn 2012. As many of you will have noticed, we have a serious lack of artists participating in Spring Fling in the west of Dumfries and Galloway and though we have some ideas for how to tackle the issues surrounding the lack of 'open studios' in the west - we would like to hear the opinions of artists, makers and designers as well.

Spring Fling remains a high quality selected event for professional artists, and in coming to Stranraer on 17 May, you can view the work of our 76 artists who are taking part in Spring Fling 2012 at the Taster Exhibition.

Anyone, from anywhere, is welcome to come along.

Please RSVP to this leah@spring-fling.co.uk (we will need to know numbers prior to the meeting) and if you cannot attend we would love to hear your thoughts (again just respond to this email address) which we can put into the mix both at the meeting and to inform our future planning.

We look forward to meeting you on 17 May.

Thanks!

Best wishes,

Leah
