The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has an AHRC funded 3-month postdoctoral research vacancy. Candidates must have recently completed their PhD (including waiting for examination) and be available to start from 14th February 2013.
The Project will involve working with Department of Philosophy, Liverpool Biennial, FACTand the Bluecoat on the project ‘Patterns of Thought: Art and Philosophy for Children and Families’ to critically reflect on events as part of the Biennial 2012 whilst demonstrating the benefits of collaboration with the research base for longer-term research projects and planning future Biennials and festivals.
This project provides a fantastic opportunity to work with cultural organisations at an early stage of your career – projects will be supervised by academic researchers at the University as well as colleagues working in the external organisations. Time will be spent across all partners during the 3 month project.
