Stallholder Opportunity in BOXSMALL in Edinburgh

This summer, a revolutionary entertainment space is coming to Edinburgh. Adopting a striking residence on  a pivotal corner of the city centre, NEST is a hub of activity set upon the roof top of Princes Mall. NEST transforms this underused area into a space that houses unique playtime experiences for children and  innovative offerings for families and tourists.

Sitting at street level adjacent to the bustle of Princes Street, NEST is a self-contained entity comprising  three exciting zones: BUBBLEPARC, BOXSMALL and PICNIC.
BUBBLEPARC is a deployable micro entertainment park consisting of a collection of futuristic structures: Bungydome, Bubblepod and Hive. These cutting-edge, architecturally designed playhouses are changing the face of children’s entertainment – not only aesthetically beautiful, but functional and fun. The geodesic Bungydome integrates four bungy trampoline jump stations that oscillate riders weightlessly into the air; a
safe acrobatic space that generates spontaneous choreography. The Bubblepod offers the unique experience of manouvering your own bubble by implementing a series of transparent spheres that float in a pool of water. Hive is a brand new interactive projection experience that allows children to view, touch and
manipulate magical surroundings.

BOXSMALL is a pop-up market set upon the roof top of Princes Mall, a series of cubic microstores showcasing the very best of Scottish produce in an exciting new context. Stroll along the public walkways and enjoy the diverse and colourful selection of Scottish products on offer – from delicious local food to cutting edge design, clothing and crafts. BOXSMALL is a market place like no other, presenting an innovative interface between local brands and tourists/families that frequent this corner of the city centre during school holidays.

BOXSMALL aim to invite 21 unique brands/designers/artists along with 10 caterers that will not only compliment each other, but compliment our event and have the potential to do well commercially! If you are interested contact Shona Donaldson on 0131 555 0945 or by email info@nest.co.uk /.
