D+G Regional Arts Conference...cat out of bag

You will need to be quick if you want to attend 'Our Vision for the Future....A Model for Change in Creative Dumfries and Galloway'

So what is exactly is this.....?? Answers range from:
  • Dalbeattie #3 (course you remember those other two regional gatherings in Dahbeeeie - reminders here and here - one significant flaw in this theory is that the event is not in Dalbeattie of course)
  • A prototype for the planned yearly D+G Arts Convention - part of the Fresh Start plan (you knew that)
  • The conclusion of the Phase 1 of the Fresh Start process - 'The Process, The Vision, The Launch Pad'
  • A damn fine excuse to get high heid yins in the Arts down to D+G to see what we are doing and make new links for the future
  • An invitation to build a model space rocket shaped like an ice-cream van and powered by Bladnoch Whisky
Alternatively it is:

A special one-day gathering is being held to launch a visionary new structure for the arts in Dumfries & Galloway – a unique model for Scotland.
Organised by Dumfries and Galloway Arts Partnership (DGAP), it explores how the ideas which emerged from the Fresh Start for the Arts process will empower and strengthen creativity.
The event will feature guest speakers, open forums, performances and discussions about the future of D&G’s creative sector.

It takes place at Greyfriars Church, Dumfries, on 13 November, 2013.

Places are limited to just 150 – so book fast at https://futurevisiondg.eventbrite.co.uk/ if you want to be there.

Whatever you choose to call it - it WILL be an important day for the arts in the region.....see youse there
