Moffat's 'Book Festival in a Day'

Moffat Academy is hosting its first PUBLIC Book Festival in a day on 12th October 2013. 

There will be Book launches, signings  AND  a Creative Writing competition

10.30 Moffat CAN, Annanside: with Moffat CAN staff and Angus Sinclair 
 
11.30 Moffat Academy: Shalla Gray “The Quite Big Rock” a story for 5 to 7 year olds
Jayne Baldwin “On being a writer” , author of “West over the waves”,”The Belties of Curlywee Farm” and her new book “Mary Timney : The road to the gallows”  for 13 plus

FROM 2 pm : Moffat Academy :Free Drop-in activities for all ages                             
2 p.m Moffat Academy Prizewinning author Keith Gray , author of “Ostrich Boys”, “Malarkey”, “Ghosting” and many other books. The Creative Writing prize will be awarded at this event : for 12 + years old           £3 (or £6 for a family of 4)

3 p.m  Moffat Academy Pauline James . Launch of the trail of the pointy toed pyjama thief” For 4 + years old   
                                                           
Under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be bought in advance at Moffat Books, 5 Well Street, Moffat or bt e mail at moffatbooks@gmail.com 01683 220 059.
