The growth of The Yellow Door

And whilst we're on the subject of the Creative Dumfries viral spread - The Yellow Door is soon to return! Monday the 24th will see students of Dumfries and Galloway college temporarily taking over the space until the 30th of March.

BEING FRANK features work by Holly Burns, Lauran Evans, Stephen Ross and Robbie Wilson, a photographic collective showcasing creative and challenging imagery selected from recent works. And will be open

Mon-Fri 12.00-1800
Sat, Sun 12.00-20.00

But that is not all!

Following the success of recent experiments with a ‘pop-up’ gallery, “The Yellow Door Group”, a brand new collective of artists, craftspeople, makers, writers, and their friends, are opening a new permanent shop and gallery at the old stationers’ shop with “The Yellow Door” near the top of Queen Street, in Dumfries. The Gallery will be open from Friday 4th April 2014, initially for three days a week.

Please pass on the attached flyer – we’d appreciate it hugely if you could circulate it as widely as you can.

Please also find attached an invitation to a ‘Private View’ of an exhibition of work by “The Yellow Door Group” and friends, to launch our new gallery, to be held on the evening of Thursday 3rd April, from 6-9pm.
