"Naturally, it was the local talent which was initially drawn upon when the gallery first opened its doors back in 2004, and 10 years on, The Whitehouse Gallery is still an active supporter of the local scene… This exhibition couldn’t be more relevant and fitting to the occasion - not only are all of the artists based in, or originating from, Dumfries and Galloway, but the exhibition also features a new collection of work from the late Archie Sutter Watt RSW, who was helpful and had an influence in the early days of setting up the gallery."
