Literary Luminate

There are two literary events as part of this years Luminate Festival for Creative Ageing in Dumfries and Galloway:

Shuffling off this mortal coil - rants, wisdom and shoes; Saturday 11th October, Tickets £15 “A unique luncheon party for the discerning, quirky and exuberant. Three course lunch by Star catering, Margaret Elphinstone gives the rant with a response from a distinguished guest and a pop up-currated memory shoe exhibition in the delightful village of Twynholm. Bring a shoe or two!


Three Score years and... Tuesday 28th October. Free but booking advised. An afternoon led by renowned storyteller Jean Edmiston, celebrating memories and exploring the power of stories to unlock imagination. Set during a week-long exhibition open to all professional artists over 60 living in Dumfries and Galloway. For storytellers, carers, friends and family with elders.”
