D&G Annual Arts Convention - Save that date!

From the DG Unlimited team

It’s been a fast-moving year for everyone involved in the arts and culture in D&G, and everything looks like it will accelerate further in 2015.
The Chamber (now DG Unlimited) has announced that the region’s Annual Arts Convention will take place at the Ryan Centre in Stranraer on Wednesday 5th November. It will be a superb chance to look back on the highlights of the year gone by and to think about what comes next.

The event should be colourful, informative, empowering and fun.
Doors open at 12.30pm and will run from 1.30pm to 5pm. The keynote speakers will be:
• Janet Archer, CEO of Creative Scotland
• Richard Grieveson, D&G Council Head of Resource Planning and Community Services.
There will be presentations by all the arts convenors.
There will be lots more to do and see as well, and we’ll be keeping you up to date with the latest details in the weeks ahead.

The convention is free to attend and is open to all with a keen interest in the D&G arts and cultural sectors. Far from being members only, we’d love you to encourage others to join us and find out all about what’s going on.

Registration is now open and we expect there to be lots of interest, so it’s best to book straight away which you can do by emailing freshstartdg@outlook.com or using our contact form.
