Carlisle Photo Festival

From Carlisle Photo Festival

Now in our third year, Carlisle Photo Festival 2014 continues to offer all photographers opportunities to exhibit in diverse venues across the city of Carlisle. We hope to challenge ideas about the way contemporary photography can interact with both its surroundings and audience. In using unusual venues we aim to attract a wider range of the viewing public and create a buzz in the community.

James Sebright

This year the festival kicks off on Saturday the 8th of November, and runs until the 15th, including exhibitions in the Carlisle Railway Station, The Citadel Old Courts, The University of Cumbria and some more unusual venues about the city centre.
