Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival are seeking applications to the post of Freelance Marketing officer, to support our region wide programme of events.
A fee of £2800 is offered for 28 days work Between the Feb 10th and June 14th 2014.
Develop a good understanding of the festival programme and its audiences
Develop DGAF network of press contacts, and supporters.
Develop a press and PR campaign aimed giving strong coverage within the region and outwidth.
Manage effective distribution of publicity materials.
Mange effective digital communication though our website, and other digital communication channels.
Ensure audience data is effectively captured using available systems.
Provide Support for local contacts promoting DGAF events.
Place of Work.
You will be expected to work regularly from our office at the Gracefield Arts Centre Dumfries DG1 1JQ. Some working from home is expected.

We are looking for an experienced individual with

· creative flair.
· good team player.
· able to work independently and prioritise workloads.
