I have sent a Listing Application to HS on behalf of DHBT for this pretty bus stop – given the sudden disappearance of so many of these recently across the region, its survival is presumably more accidental than out of any deliberate concession or reasons of aesthetic discernment on the part of the Council.
If you share our enthusiasm for such classic British street furniture - like the Gilbert Scott telephone kiosks and letter boxes, which have also been gradually disappearing – perhaps you would like to write, briefly, to HS in support of this Application.
