Theatre Workshop - Whithorn

  EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IN THEATRE PERFORMANCE

 A unique opportunity for young adults from 14 to 18 to work with Jacquie Crago

 11am - 3 pm on Saturday July 2

 This workshop is very practical. After a brief introduction explaining the physical and vocal tools of the actor and what voice  'projection' means, you will do exercises to develop your potential vocal range and exercises to help you learn techniques to connect  with and communicate text, using short extracts from plays.
 Jacqui Crago gives voice and acting workshops and classes for the London International school of Performing Arts, the RSC, InterAct (Northern Touring Theatre), Bristol and Gloucester Universities, Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, RSAMD. She has also provided one to one text and dialect coaching for RSC, Headlong and other leading theatre companies; and master classes at. New College, Oxford as well as workshops, courses and individual coaching for opera and musical theatre performers.
