Today
we (at The Stove) have been discussing the idea that Burns might well have
experimented with Street Art and Social Media - the equivalents of
pamphleteering and writing on windaes in the 18th Century?
A
thought obviously not shared by many of the good burghers of Dumfries
who are tonight tucking into their haggis and celebrating the radical
and rebellious Bard...the same burghers who are harumphing outrage
at the artwork that has appeared around the town this week as part of the festival in honour of
Burns' birthday - The Big Burns Supper
