The CatStrand, New Galloway, are looking for talented workshop leaders for a 3-day filmmaking project this summer. The project will involve working with a group of up to 20 young people to create a short film inspired by the outdoor sculptures recently installed in the Galloway Forest Park; the Giants in the Forest . The film will be presented at an outdoor screening event in the forest later this year.

The main aims for the project are:
• To be inspired by the Giants in the Forest (including a short visit out to the site at the Otter Pool)
• To provide skills-based workshops for the young people - storyboarding, devising, filming
• To result in a short film of up to 10 minutes in any genre (but suitable for a family audience)
• To be a fun experience for the school holidays
Fee
Total project fee of £500
