DG Arts Festival - Final Weekend

Well, last weekend may have been a full on three days for some - but if you are still looking for more to see and do as part of the DG Arts Festival, then you are in luck as it continues on for one more weekend.

Big Lit - a one day literary festival takes over Gatehouse on Sunday (2nd June) including James Kelman and Karen Campbell amongst a whole host of others. Also look out for workshops and guerilla poets around the town...

For the more muscially inclined, folk singer and musician Chris Wood supported by the lovely Zoe Bestel will appear at The Theatre Royal.

Theatre highlights The Red Hourglass by Alan Bissett; "a laugh out loud natural history lesson as well as a dark, witty, sexy satire" heading up at Dundrennan Village Hall on the 31st, and A' the Airts on 1st June.

In an update to the programme, Miss Havesham's Expectations will be replaced by Oliver Reed: Wild Thing, on 31 May in the village hall in Ecclefechan and the Old Well Theatre on Moffat on Saturday 1 June.

As ever the DG Arts Festival website will keep you straight
