previews

Be the first to get hold of beautiful hand-printed silk
scarves, and other items, from textile artist Laura Perry’s new range which is
being launched at Spring Fling. Wallaceton,

Renowned architectural blacksmith Adam Booth will be
launching a “By Piper’s Forge” range of beautifully designed
items including fire irons, candlesticks, letter racks and objet d’art. Kirkpatrick Durham.

Textile designer Emma Kerr will be launching a new range of
silk screen printed T shirts featuring animal and naturalistic designs as part
of her Elkbi brand. Kirkcudbright.

Acclaimed cabinetmaker Daniel
Lacey is previewing a small range of limited edition furniture. Dr Cat Barlow will also be on hand to
talk to people about a project that Daniel supports which aims to revive the

Portrait photos

Photographer Roger Lever will take portrait photos of
visitors to his studios as part of the pilot for his fantastic 1000facesscotland project. They can
then buy them for just £5. Dalbeattie.

Be a star, portrait photographer Kim Ayres will photograph all visitors
who would like to join in as
Humphrey Bogart and will pin their pictures to the walls of his studio. Buy your own copy
