Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Dumfries and Galloway Chamber of Arts are delighted to announce two commissioning opportunities in Dumfries and Galloway These commissions, which are to be delivered over the coming two years, are designed to encourage ambitious arts programmes in the public realm in Dumfries and Stranraer; to stimulate collaborative working among artists and local arts organisations; to engage local and visitor audiences, to strengthen capacity and collaborative working among our arts organisations, and to demonstrate that arts can make a significant contribution to the regeneration of our town centres.
