Scottish Contemporary Art Network (SCAN) is hosting an informal meeting, workshop and networking event as part of a Scotland wide ‘roadshow’ to speak to those working across the contemporary visual arts in Scotland. This is an opportunity for anyone working in this area discuss and workshop the development needs for the contemporary art across Scotland. 

SCAN is a membership body committed to fostering a strong network of members from across all disciplines within the contemporary art (curation, galleries, writing, producing, artistic practice etc) that will work together to share best practice, skills, knowledge and resources for the collective good and long term sustainability of the contemporary art sector.

This event and the information gathered from it will help SCAN identify new objectives and priorities that will feed directly into programming plans across our advocacy, networking, professional development and research activities.

SCAN will be joined by some special guests working in and around the Dumfries area. Refreshments provided!
