UB40 at the Wickerman...
Strange headline in the Galloway News today. The story, 'Art Attack' refers to young Galloway singer songwriter Saint Max, who rather disgruntled at some of the frustrations with his part time summer job at the Kirkcudbright museum gallery, decided to work out said frustration, via the medium of a deeply sensitive hymnal on work. Which he then posted on his facebook page.
Disgruntled museum bosses upon hearing said ditty instructed Max to remove the song from the internets. Max's refusal to do so, now finds our frustrated young troubadour joining many of the regions musicians on the old rock 'n roll.
Max, will be appearing at the Wickerman Festival this weekend, catch him in the acoustic village on the Ingrid Pitt stage. I hear if requested he may do a couple of UB40 covers...
