Kirkcudbright Creamery...the end of an era.....

This is a link to a film of the final demolition of Kirkcudbright Creamery built in 1934 and demolished on Monday this week. 

It's the end of an era, both architecturally and industrially......

    Disgraceful decision. Not only did Milklink go ahead with the closure, but no-one from Alex Salmond down, despite various promises, have done a single thing to create alternative employment. Nothing. And there is now NO production moved from Kirkcudbright being produced at its sister factory in Devon. Disgracefully betrayed by all concerned.
