We came, we saw , we oohed and aahed. Kids danced, adults shivered and the hungry hordes consumed haggis burgers. The Stove finally arrived to First Foot Dumfries on Friday and Saturday night to great acclaim from the good, the great and the barely washed.
What appeared to be a scene of placid, calm tranquil images projected on the outside of the building belied the frantic activity behind the door as artists and technicians competed in Olympian class swearing matches as cables were slung, plugs unplugged and images loaded.
Much applause is due to team Stove who pulled off an amazing feat and truly lit up the heart of Dumfries.
